AFFIN Group Berhad ("AFFIN" or the "Group") wishes to announce the appointment of Ms. Doreen Choo Choy Wan ("Ms. Doreen Choo") as Senior Managing Director, Wealth and Asset Management, under the Office of the President & Group Chief Executive Officer, with effect from 1 July 2026.

Ms. Doreen Choo has more than 20 years of extensive experience in the asset management industry, with expertise in business transformation, investment management and organizational development across established financial institutions.

Her appointment follows the successful completion of the Group's acquisition of AFFIN PHEIM and forms part of AFFIN's ongoing strategy to strengthen its wealth and asset management franchise. In her current role, Ms. Doreen Choo will work closely with the AFFIN PHEIM leadership team and relevant stakeholders across the Group to drive strategic alignment, support organisational integration and lead the execution of key transformation initiatives.

The Board of Directors and Management of AFFIN welcome Ms. Doreen Choo to the Group and look forward to her leadership and contributions in advancing the growth and development of AFFIN's wealth and asset management business.
