(The definitions used in this announcement shall have the same meanings as that used in the announcements made on 19 February 2025 and 4 February 2026 ("Announcements") unless stated otherwise.)

Further to the Company's Announcements, the Board of Directors of Southern Cable is pleased to announce that Southern had on today received a Supplemental Agreement from TNB where TNB and Southern have mutually agreed to the option to extend the original Contract ("Optional Contract Extension") and amend certain terms and conditions for the supply and delivery of various sizes of underground cable and conductor for the Distribution Network Division, TNB.

The Optional Contract Extension has a price of RM403,551,830.00 (Ringgit Malaysia: Four Hundred Three Million Five Hundred Fifty-One Thousand Eight Hundred Thirty), and is supplementary to the original Contract value.

The contract period shall be for a duration of one (1) year commencing from 12 August 2026 until 11 August 2027, unless earlier terminated in accordance with the Contract.

The terms and conditions in the Contract shall remain in full force and effect and shall be construed and enforceable as if the terms and conditions of the Supplemental Agreement were inserted by way of supplementation, addition or substitution as the case may be.
