The Board of Directors of LPI wishes to announce that the Singapore Branch operations of its wholly-owned subsidiary, Lonpac Insurance Bhd, have been transferred to Lonpac Insurance Singapore Pte. Ltd. (LIS), a newly incorporated wholly-owned subsidiary of Lonpac Insurance Bhd, with effect from 1 July 2026. Accordingly, LIS is an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of LPI.

LIS obtained the licence to carry on general insurance business in Singapore from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) on 23 June 2026.

The incorporation of LIS does not have any material effect on the issued share capital, net assets or earnings of the LPI Group for the financial year ending 31 December 2026.
