| Working experience and occupation | Glover is in charge of all international businesses, including both overseas subsidiaries and affiliates. In that role, he oversees all functions within those entities. He is also Joint Head of Japan Institutional Business Division, responsible for the teams covering pension funds and large financial institutions. Glover joined Nikko Asset Management (since renamed Amova Asset Management) in March 2020, and was originally appointed as Global Head of Intermediaries. He became Global Head of Consultant Relations in November 2020, and has held the position of Global Head of International Sales since September 2021. In April 2023, he was appointed as Senior Corporate Officer and Joint Head of Japan Institutional Business Division, before being appointed Executive Corporate Officer and Head of International Business in September 2025. Glover has a career in asset management spanning over 25 years, and has been based in Tokyo since 2001. Prior to joining Nikko Asset Management, he worked in the Japan offices of WestLB Asset Management, Fortis Investments, and BNP Paribas Asset Management. He spent a decade working as an analyst and fund manager investing in the Japanese equity markets before moving to management roles, first as head of the investment team, and then later as Chief Administrative Officer, while also acting as an investment specialist for Japanese equity strategies, covering clients in Europe, Asia and Latin America. He is a fluent Japanese speaker after graduating from SOAS (London University) with a BA in Japanese and Economics, and is a CFA and CAIA charterholder. |
