Sime Darby Berhad ("Sime") wishes to announce that PT UMW International ("PTUI"), an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of Sime, has commenced liquidation pursuant to the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, following the appointment of liquidator with effect from 4 May 2026.

The appointed liquidator is Ruti Rahayu of Jalan Batu Intan Baiduri nomor 5, Rukun Tetangga 004, Rukun Warga 011, Kelurahan Kayu Putih, Kecamatan Pulo Gadung, Jakarta Timur.

The liquidation of PTUI is not expected to have any material impact on the earnings or net assets or operations of the Sime Group for the financial year ending 30 June 2026. None of the Directors or major shareholders of Sime or persons connected with them has any interest, direct or indirect, in the liquidation.
