The Board of Directors of Varia wishes to announce that Varia Southrise Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Varia Properties Sdn Bhd, which in turn is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, has on 9 June 2026 entered into a Collaboration Agreement with Seri Alam Properties Sdn Bhd, to jointly develop a piece of  freehold land held under Individual Title Geran 264634, Lot 89848, Mukim Plentong in the district of Johor Bahru, Negeri Johor measuring approximately 43,810 square metres, which is located in Bandar Seri Alam, Johor Bahru ("Land") for a proposed residential development within the Land comprising 2 blocks of 20 and 21 storey each of medium-cost stratified apartments (totaling 645 units) with all ancillary facilities including one (1) unit of TNB sub-station and other facilities/amenities.
