The Board of Directors of Velesto Energy Berhad wishes to announce that Encik Mohd Rashid Mohd Yusof, the Chairman of the Board and a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of the Company, has elected to retire voluntarily from the Board of Directors with effect from the conclusion of the 16th Annual General Meeting of the Company held on 3 June 2026.
Encik Mohd Rashid Mohd Yusof was appointed to the Board of Directors on 23 June 2017 and has served approximately nine (9) years on the Board as at the date of his retirement. His voluntary retirement is in accordance with the Permodalan Nasional Berhad ("PNB") Domestic Voting Guidelines, which prescribe a maximum tenure of nine (9) years for PNB nominee directors.
The Board of Directors wishes to place on record its sincere appreciation to Encik Mohd Rashid Mohd Yusof for his invaluable contributions and dedicated service to the Company during his tenure on the Board. |
