Unless stated otherwise, the terms used herein shall carry the same meaning as those defined in the earlier announcements in relation to the Proposals.

 

We refer to the earlier announcements dated 28 August 2025, 29 August 2025, 1 October 2025, 3 February 2026, 1 April 2026, 2 April 2026 and 12 May 2026, and the Circular dated 17 October 2025.

 

On behalf of the Board, UOBKH wishes to announce that the MITI had, vide its supplementary letter dated 26 May 2026, agreed with the recognition of Fajar Muda Sdn Bhd as an existing Bumiputera shareholder of the Company, for purpose of complying with the Bumiputera Equity Requirements pursuant to the Proposed Transfer. Additionally, the MITI acknowledged that the Company will allocate 18,220,200 Shares, representing 4.4% of the Company's enlarged issued share capital to Bumiputera investors approved by the MITI.
