The Board of Directors of Country Heights Holdings Berhad ("CHHB" or the "Company") wishes to announce that the Company had on 12 May 2026 received a letter from the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia enclosing a sealed Order dated 27 January 2026 issued by the High Court of Malaya at Shah Alam in respect of the winding-up petition filed by Kerajaan Malaysia against its wholly-owned subsidiary, Country Heights Commercial Development Sdn. Bhd. ("CHCD"), involving an alleged outstanding amount of approximately RM289,687.86, vide Shah Alam High Court Companies Winding-Up Petition No. BA-28NCC-438-06/2025 and with an Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia Settlement Letter 4 May 2026 for the related case
THAT pursuant to the said seal Order, the High Court of Malaya at Shah Alam had ordered, inter alia, that the winding-up petition dated 23 June 2025 against CHCD be dismissed with liberty to file afresh and that the deposit sum of RM3,000.00 be refunded to the petitioner. The Company further received letter from the Inland Revenue Board dated 4 May 2026 that the said winding petition was fully settled by the company.
Accordingly, the winding-up proceedings against CHCD have been concluded.
The dismissal of the winding-up petition is not expected to have any material financial or operational impact on the earnings, net assets or operations of the CHHB Group for the financial year ending 2026.
