As part of Shangri-La Hotels (Malaysia) Berhad ("SHMB" or "the Company")'s Board succession process, the Company wishes to announce that Ms Lin Diaan Yi has been appointed to the SHMB Board and as the new Managing Director of the Company with effect from 14 April 2026, succeeding Mr Christopher Phong Siew San. Consequently, Mr Christopher Phong's last day as Managing Director of the Company and on the Board of SHMB will now be on 13 April 2026, instead of 31 May 2026, as previously announced on 2 March 2026.

Ms Lin Diaan Yi brings to the Company her experience of corporate leadership, combined with a robust background and expertise in portfolio strategy, financial, performance and operational management, governance, sustainability and transformation.  Her extensive experience across different disciplines would enrich the Board's diversity of skills and enhance its decision-making processes.
