Unless stated otherwise, the terms used herein shall carry the same meaning as those defined in the earlier announcements dated 18 March 2026 and 8 April 2026.

Reference is made to the Announcement dated 8 April 2026 on the winding-up petition dated 7 April 2026 (Petition No.: JA-28NCC-72-04/2026) against Real Steel Sdn Bhd ("RSSB").

The Board of Directors of the Company wishes to announce that SLU has officially withdrawn its winding-up petition dated 17 March 2026 (Petition No.: JA-28NCC-45-03/2026) against RSSB on 10 April 2026, with liberty to file afresh ("Withdrawal").

The Withdrawal is to facilitate the progression of the new winding-up petition (Petition No.: JA-28NCC-72-04/2026) dated 7 April 2026, following RSSB's breach of the settlement agreement dated 19 March 2026.

The indebtedness of RSSB has been fully impaired in the Group's quarterly report on consolidated results for the financial period ended 31 December 2025. Consequently, the Withdrawal is not expected to have any material financial impact on the Company or the Group, other than legal costs and related disbursements incurred in respect of the same.
