The works under the MAWILLA 2 Contract comprise the design and construction of permanent military family housing units and associated facilities, including a surau, childcare centre, mechanical and electrical works, and other ancillary infrastructure, on a design-and-build basis.
The MAWILLA 2 Contract shall be completed within 40 months from the date of possession of the site.
For information, CLSB was invited by JKR in June 2025 to participate in the design-and-build tender for the Project, following a pre-qualification exercise conducted by JKR. CLSB submitted its tender proposal in August 2025.
The acceptance of the MAWILLA 2 Contract is in the ordinary course of business of CLSB.
Following the acceptance of the MAWILLA 2 Contract, the outstanding order book of Citaglobal and its subsidiaries ("Group") on a pro forma basis stands at approximately RM1.44 billion as at 31 March 2026, compared with the Group's outstanding order book of approximately RM1.80 billion as at 31 December 2025, after taking into account, among others, the Notice of Award received by Citaglobal Telecommunication Sdn. Bhd. from the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission as announced on 23 January 2026, the discontinuation of the arrangements previously contemplated under the Conditional Letter of Award relating to the East Coast Rail Link as disclosed in the Company's announcement dated 18 March 2026, and the MAWILLA 2 Contract.
The MAWILLA 2 Contract will not have any effect on the issued share capital and the shareholdings of the substantial shareholders of the Company.
The MAWILLA 2 Contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings, earnings per share and net assets of the Group during the MAWILLA 2 Contract period.
The Company does not foresee any exceptional risk other than the normal operational risks associated with the MAWILLA 2 Contract. Nevertheless, the Company will take the necessary steps to mitigate the risk as and when it occurs.
None of the Directors and major shareholders of the Group and/or persons connected to them has any interest, whether direct or indirect, in the MAWILLA 2 Contract.
