Divfex Berhad ("DFX") wishes to announce that Cogent Consulting Sdn Bhd ("Cogent"), a 81.25%-owned dormant subsidiary of DFX, has applied to the Companies Commission of Malaysia ("CCM") for the striking off of Cogent pursuant to Section 550 of the Companies Act 2016 ("Proposed Strike Off").

Cogent had ceased operations and became dormant since June 2022 and the Proposed Strike Off will reduce the administrative resources and costs to be incurred for maintaining this dormant subsidiary.

The Proposed Strike Off will not have any material impact on the earnings and net assets of DFX for the financial year ending 30 June 2026.

None of the directors or substantial shareholders of DFX or persons connected with them has any interest, whether direct or indirect, in the Proposed Strike Off.
