Further to the announcement made earlier today, on behalf of the Board of Directors of GFB, we wish to inform that NuEnergy Gas Limited ("NuEnergy"), a subsidiary of GFB which is listed on the Australian Securities Exchange ("ASX") has responded to ASX confirming that it is not aware of any information that has not been announced to the market which, if known, could explain the recent trading in its securities.

In this response, NuEnergy, however highlighted certain positive independent analyst commentary reported today in an article published in various Australian media outlets.

The detailed response by NuEnergy to the price query is enclosed in the attachment.
