Reference is made to the Company's announcement dated 11 December 2023 and 9 December 2025 in relation to the Memorandum of Understanding ("MOU") entered into between Benua Hijau Sdn Bhd ("Benua Hijau"), a 51%-owned subsidiary of Straits, the Management Council of Terengganu State Parks ("MPTN") and the Setiu Land Office ("PTS") for the reforestation of degraded Gelam forest.

The Board of Directors of Straits wishes to announce that the Company has, on 18 March 2026, received a letter from MPTN dated 16 March 2026 confirming its agreement to extend the MOU for a further period of two (2) years from its original expiry date of 10 December 2025.

Following the extension, the MOU shall remain in effect until 10 December 2027, unless otherwise terminated in accordance with its terms.
