On behalf of the Board of Directors of Careplus, UOB Kay Hian (M) Sdn Bhd (formerly known as UOB Kay Hian Securities (M) Sdn Bhd) wishes to announce that the Company proposes to undertake a proposed private placement of up to 77,238,849 new ordinary shares in Careplus (“Careplus Share(s)” or “Share(s)”), representing up to approximately 10% of the total number of issued Careplus Shares (excluding treasury shares), to independent third party investor(s) to be identified, at an issue price to be determined at a later date in accordance with the general mandate pursuant to Sections 75 and 76 of the Act.
