Reference is made to CCB’s announcements dated 19 October 2023, 27 December 2023, 10 January 2024, 7 November 2024 and 11 February 2026 (“the Announcements”).

Unless otherwise stated, the definitions used in this announcement shall carry the same meanings as defined in the Announcements.

The Board of Directors of CCB wishes to announce that CESB and CICSB were on 9 March 2026 notified of an application pursuant to Order 18 Rule 19(1)(d) and/or Order 33 Rules 2 and 5 and/or Order 92 Rule 4 of the Rules of Court, 2012 to strike out the proceedings of the Johor Bahru High Court Civil Suit No. JA-22NCvC-52-04/2023. A copy of the sealed Notice of Application together with a copy of the 1st and 2nd Defendants’ Affidavit in Support thereto have been served on the solicitors of the Plaintiffs. The first case management is scheduled on 12 March 2026.

The Company will make the necessary announcement as and when there are material developments in relation thereto.
