The Board of Directors of Farmiera Berhad (“Farmiera” or the “Board”) wishes to announce that a fire incident occurred on 14 February 2026 at the Group’s owned broiler farm located at Lot 3633, Kampung Air Hitam, 71150 Linggi, Negeri Sembilan (“Farm Linggi”).

The incident resulted in the loss of three chicken houses with a combined capacity of approximately 100,000 broilers per cycle. The incident is not expected to materially impact the operations of the Group. No broilers were lost as there had been no intake of broilers at the time of the incident. There were no injuries or casualties during the incident.

The management of the Group is in the process of ascertaining the actual quantum of losses arising from the incident. Farmiera has adequate fire and stock insurance coverage in place for Farm Linggi and is initiating the relevant insurance claims.

The management of the Group will mitigate the production disruption arising from the incident by engaging additional contract farmers. This is expected to allow the Group to recoup production volume and meet its existing market commitments.

The Board will make further announcements on any material developments in relation to the incident, if required.
