(Unless otherwise defined in this announcement, all terms used herein shall have the same meaning as those defined in the announcement dated 28 January 2026)

Reference is made to the Company’s announcement made on 28 January 2026.

The Board of Directors of Chin Hin Group Berhad (“CHGB” or “the Company”) wishes to further announce that:

1. Status of Court Proceedings

As updated in the Company’s announcement made on 28 January 2026, the High Court granted an ad interim injunction in favour of KKSB (“Ad Interim Injunction Order”), to preserve the status quo of the matter pending the disposal of KKSB’s Originating Summons dated 27 January 2026.

KKSB had, on 11 February 2026, received:

i) a copy of the Notice of Application (to Set Aside the Ad Interim Injunction Order dated 28 January 2026) filed by Exyte, where Exyte is seeking to set aside the Ad Interim Injunction Order; and  

ii) an affidavit filed by Exyte, in support of Exyte’s Notice of Application dated 10 February 2026 and to oppose KKSB’s Originating Summons dated 27 January 2026.

At this juncture, the court has directed parties to attend the case management (to be conducted through e-review) fixed for 24 February 2026 in respect of Exyte’s setting aside application.

In respect of the interim injunction application filed by KKSB through the Originating Summons dated 27 January 2026, pending the exchange of affidavits and written submissions, the inter-partes hearing is fixed on 1 April 2026 before the Kuala Lumpur High Court.

2. Confirmation as to Whether KKSB is a Major Subsidiary

The Company wishes to make a corrective statement in that KKSB is not a “major subsidiary” of CHGB. This is because KKSB does not contribute 70% or more of the profit before tax or total assets employed by CHGB on a consolidated basis.

3. Further Announcements

The Company will make the appropriate announcements to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) as and when there are material developments in relation thereto in accordance with the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Securities.
