Axis REIT Managers Berhad (“Manager”), the management company of Axis Real Estate Investment Trust (“Axis-REIT”), wishes to announce that a fire incident which occurred at a furniture factory in Sea Park, Petaling Jaya on 8 February 2026, has partially affected Wisma Kemajuan, a property owned by Axis-REIT that is located adjacent to the said factory.

The incident resulted in partial damage to Wisma Kemajuan. There were no injuries or casualties reported in relation to the property.

Axis-REIT has adequate Fire Takaful and also fire consequential loss policy in place for Wisma Kemajuan. Wisma Kemajuan only contributes approximately 1.4% of Axis-REIT’s total revenue. Accordingly, the Manager expects the financial impact arising from this incident on the net property income and total asset value of Axis-REIT to be immaterial. Nevertheless, the fire consequential loss policy covers for loss of rental during the repair period.
