Sime Darby Berhad (“Sime”) wishes to announce that Dongguan Chuang Yi Motors Sales and Services Company Limited (“DGCY”), an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of Sime, was placed under liquidation following a shareholders’ resolution passed on 5 February 2026.

Pursuant thereto, the formation of the Liquidation Group comprising the following members was notified by DGCY to the National Enterprise Credit Information Publicity System on 10 February 2026:

a)    Wang Guo Liang (person in charge of the Liquidation Group)

b)    Liu Ya Dong

c)    Zhang Yong Hui

d)    Lee Xiao Yue

The liquidation of DGCY is not expected to have any material effect on the earnings or net assets of the Sime Group for the financial year ending 30 June 2026.

None of the Directors or major shareholders of Sime or persons connected with them has any interest, direct or indirect, in the said liquidation.
