Reference is made to the utilisation of proceeds of RM750.0 million arising from the disposal of the plantation assets in Sabah ("Proceeds") by Pertama Land & Development Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned sub-subsidiary of the Company in 2018.

Reference is also made to the announcements dated 26 April 2021 and 25 October 2023, where the Board of Directors of DutaLand ("Board") had resolved to extend the timeframe for utilisation of the Proceeds which have been allocated to fund the existing businesses and for acquisition of new businesses/assets. As at the date of this announcement, the Company has yet to fully utilise the Proceeds.

The Board wishes to announce that it had, on 6 February 2026 resolved to further extend the timeframe for utilisation of the Proceeds. For further details, please refer to the attachment below.
