Reference is made to SSBB’s announcements dated 22 December 2025, 12 January 2026, 23 January 2026 and 29 January 2026 in relation to the Offer (“Announcements”). Unless otherwise defined, all abbreviations and definitions used herein shall have the same meaning as those defined in the Announcements.

 
On behalf of the Offeror, Kenanga IB wishes to announce that as at 5:00 p.m. (Malaysian time) on Tuesday, 3 February 2026, the Offeror has received Valid Acceptance of not less than nine-tenths in the nominal value of the Offer Shares (excluding NPS Shares already held by the Offeror and its PACs as at the date of the Offer). Please refer to the attachment for the level of acceptances of the Offer as at 5:00 p.m. (Malaysian time) of 3 February 2026.

Accordingly, the Offeror will invoke the provisions of subsection 222(1) of the CMSA to compulsorily acquire any outstanding Offer Shares from the Dissenting Shareholders and issue a compulsory acquisition notice in the form or manner specified by the SC under subsection 222(1) of the CMSA to all Dissenting Shareholders within 2 months from 3 February 2026.

The Offer will remain open for acceptances until 5:00 p.m. (Malaysian time) on Friday, 27 February 2026.
