On behalf of the Board of Directors of Westports (“Board”), Maybank Investment Bank Berhad wishes to announce that the Board has declared a single-tier second interim dividend of 11.92 sen per ordinary share of Westports (“Westports Share”) for the financial year ended 31 December 2025 (“2025 Interim Dividend”).

The Board has determined that the dividend reinvestment plan which was approved by the shareholders of Westports (“Shareholders”) at the annual general meeting of Westports (“AGM”) held on 8 May 2025 (“DRP”) will apply to 2.38 sen per Westports Share, representing 20% of the 2025 Interim Dividend. The authority for the Board to allot and issue new Westports Shares in relation to the DRP (“DRP Shares”) was approved by the Shareholders at the AGM held on 8 May 2025.

The issue price of the DRP Shares, books closure date and payment date in respect of the 2025 Interim Dividend will be announced in due course.

Under the DRP, the Shareholders will have the following options:

(i) to elect not to participate in the reinvestment option and thereby receive the entire 2025 Interim Dividend entitlement in cash;

(ii) to elect to participate in the reinvestment option by reinvesting the entire electable portion of the 2025 Interim Dividend into the DRP Shares and to receive the remaining portion of the 2025 Interim Dividend in cash; or

(iii) to elect to participate in the reinvestment option by reinvesting part of the electable portion of the 2025 Interim Dividend into the DRP Shares and to receive the balance of the electable portion and the remaining portion of the 2025 Interim Dividend in cash.

An application will be submitted to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) for the listing and quotation of the DRP Shares to be issued pursuant to the DRP on the Main Market of Bursa Securities.
