Reference is made to the announcement dated 22 July 2025 in relation to the Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU”) entered into by Kum Fatt Engineering Sdn. Bhd. (“KFE”) and Konnection Engineering Pte Ltd (“KEPL”), both wholly-owned subsidiary of UUE Holdings Berhad with ASEAN CABLESHIP PTE LTD (UEN. 198600412M) (“ACPL”) (hereinafter referred to collectively as “Parties” or individually as “Party”) on 22 July 2025 for the purpose of collaboration with one another to explore a suitable joint venture arrangement for undertaking, developing and delivering horizontal directional drilling (“HDD”) solutions for marine (offshore) clients and projects (the “Purpose”). Pursuant to the MOU, the Parties agree to discuss and work exclusively with the other Parties for a period of 6 months from the date of MOU and term of MOU will be expiring on 21 January 2026.

The Board of Directors of the Company wishes to announce that Parties of MOU had mutually agreed to extend the MOU for a period of three (3) months till 21 April 2026 or until such other date as the Parties may mutually agree in writing (“Expiry Date”). The extension is to allow the Parties to have more time to negotiate and finalise on the terms of the joint venture agreement.

All other terms and conditions of the MOU remain, continue to be valid and in force until the Expiry Date.
