Reference is made to CCB’s announcements dated 7 February 2024, 8 February 2024, 21 February 2024, 27 February 2024, 15 March 2024, 1 August 2024, 14 October 2024, 28 October, 2024, 12 November 2024, 29 November 2024, 27 January 2025, 29 August 2025 and 12 December 2025 (“the Announcements”).

Unless otherwise stated, the definitions used in this announcement shall carry the same meanings as defined in the Announcements.

The Board of Directors of CCB wishes to announce that an application made by the solicitors for the 1st Defendant to be discharged as solicitors was allowed by the learned Judge on 6 January 2026, with costs of RM5,000.00 awarded to the Plaintiff.

A Case Management is fixed on 9 January 2026, to be conducted via Zoom. The new solicitors acting for the 1st Defendant, if any, shall attend the Case Management to take directions from the court, and to fix the next date for the continuation of the trial.

The Company will make the necessary announcement as and when there are material developments in relation thereto.
