(Unless otherwise specified, the definitions used herein shall have the same meaning as those used in the announcement dated 28 November 2025 in relation to the Proposed SCR (“Announcement”)).
The Board wishes to announce that, in accordance with paragraph 3.06 of the Rules on Take-overs, Mergers and Compulsory Acquisitions, the Board (save for the Interested Directors, namely Datuk Amran Hafiz Affifudin, Mohd Asrul Ab Rahim and Nurul Iman Mohd Zaman (collectively, “Interested Directors”)) has appointed Berjaya Securities Sdn Bhd (formerly known as Inter-Pacific Securities Sdn Bhd) to act as the Independent Adviser to provide comments, opinions, information and recommendation to the Board (save for the Interested Directors) and the disinterested shareholders of UEM Edgenta in respect of the Proposed SCR.
