The Board of Directors of Mynews wishes to announce that based on the Record of Depositors of the Company as at 9 December 2025, the Company’s public shareholding spread was 24.925%. Accordingly, the Company does not comply with the public shareholding spread requirement of 25% pursuant to Paragraph 8.02(1) of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad. The shortfall of approximately 0.075% represents 560,000 shares out of the Company’s total issued share capital of 750,354,000 shares.
The Company will be exploring options to restore compliance and will make the necessary announcements in due course.
