We refer to the announcements dated 25 June 2025 and 13 November 2025 respectively.

The Board of Directors ("the Board") of South Malaysia Industries Berhad (“Company”) wishes to announce that all the resolutions set out in the 53rd AGM Notice dated 3 June 2025 together with Mr. Teh Chee Hoe’s adjournment Resolution were put to vote by poll during the Adjourned 53rd Annual General Meeting held today.  MK Advisory Management Sdn. Bhd. was appointed to act as Scrutineer to validate the votes cast at the meeting.  The voting results is as attached.

Following of the above, the 53rd Annual General Meeting is closed.
