The Board of Malayan Flour Mills Berhad wishes to announce that the following dormant/inactive subsidiary of Malayan Flour Mills Berhad had at its Extraordinary General Meeting held on 3 December 2025, obtained the approval to commence the Member's Voluntary Winding-up pursuant to Section 439(1)(b) of the Companies Act 2016. In this respect, Mr. Ng Eng Kiat and Mr. Leong Kok Tong of Folks Corporate Services Sdn Bhd, at Suite 1102, 11th Floor, Wisma Tun Sambanthan, No. 2, Jalan Sultan Sulaiman, 50000 Kuala Lumpur have been appointed to act jointly and severally as the Liquidators of the subsidiary.

The subsidiary is currently dormant/inactive and has no intention to carry on business or operations in the future. The winding-up is part of Malayan Flour Mills Berhad’s streamlining exercise to reduce the number of dormant/inactive subsidiaries in the Group.
The voluntary winding up of the subsidiary is not expected to have any material impact on the earnings and net assets of Malayan Flour Mills Group for the financial year ending 31 December 2025.
None of the Directors or major shareholders of Malayan Flour Mills Berhad and/or persons connected to them have any interest, direct or indirect, in the said voluntary winding up.
