| Working experience and occupation | He began his career in England as an Audit Senior at Leigh Carr Chartered Accountants from June 1985 to December 1990, before advancing to Audit Manager at Whiteleys Chartered Accountants from December 1990 to April 1994. He later joined Coopers & Lybrand in Malaysia as an Audit Manager from April to October 1994. Transitioning into the gaming and hospitality industry, he served as Assistant Vice President of Finance at Empress Cruise Lines (Gaming), Malaysia from October 1994 to November 1996, and as Vice President of Finance at Naga Resorts (Gaming), Cambodia from December 1996 to June 1999. He then joined the Genting Malaysia Group, where he held various senior positions including Assistant Vice President and Vice President of Finance (1999-2004), Vice President of Slots (2004-2007), Senior Vice President of Casino Operations (2007-2009), and Executive Vice President (2009-2013). From April 2013 to May 2016, he was the Chief Operating Officer of Melco Crown - City of Dreams Manila. Between December 2016 and May 2019, he was involved in various business ventures in Korea. Since January 2022, he has been serving as an Independent Director of N2N Connect Berhad, and from June 2025 onwards, he has been a Consultant to a casino in the Philippines. |
