Mr. Chee Kok Meng is a member of The Malaysian Institute of Accountants since 11 August 2005. He commenced his career with J.S. Soo & Co in April 2002 as an Audit Semi Senior before joining Deloitte & Touche in August 2003, where he served as an Audit Senior until November 2005. During this period, he gained extensive auditing experience across various industries, including manufacturing, trading, property development and food processing. He subsequently joined TPC (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd., a division of AVX Corporation as an Accountant from November 2005 to May 2007. In May 2007, he joined ViTrox Corporation Berhad, a public listed company, where he held various key positions over 14 years, including Accountant, Finance Manager and Senior Finance Manager. In these roles, he was instrumental in driving financial transformation, implementing ERP and Lean systems, securing government tax incentives and enhancing financial governance and efficiency across the Group.
Mr. Chee was appointed as the Chief Financial Officer of Plantie Group Sdn. Bhd. in August 2021. He is responsible for overseeing the overall financial management, strategic planning, treasury, budgeting, risk management and corporate governance of the group. Under his leadership, the group has achieved cost optimization, operational restructuring, and improved financial reporting standards, strengthening overall performance and accountability within the organization. |
