The board of directors (the "Board") of Media Chinese International Limited (the "Company") announces with deepest sadness that Tan Sri Datuk Sir Tiong Hiew King ("Tan Sri Datuk Sir Tiong"), a substantial shareholder and honorary chairman of the Company, passed away peacefully today. The Board expresses deepest sorrow and regret and wishes to show its gratitude for the contributions made by Tan Sri Datuk Sir Tiong to the Company during his tenure and convey its consolation to his family.
