On 4 November 2025, NuEnergy, a subsidiary of the GFB group of companies (“GFB Group”) which is listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (“ASX”), announced a partially underwritten non-renounceable pro-rata entitlement offer (“NuEnergy Entitlement Offer”). The NuEnergy Entitlement Offer provides an opportunity for existing shareholders of NuEnergy, including GFB Group, to continue participating in the growth of NuEnergy, commencing with NuEnergy’s early gas sales initiative.

NuEnergy is an indirect subsdiary of GFB, via the sharheoldings of Globaltec Energy Resources Sdn Bhd (“GER”), a wholly owned subsidiary of GFB and New Century Energy Resources Limited (“NCE”), a 60% owned subsidiary of GER. NuEnergy is an independent clean energy company focused on the development of onshore coal bed methane (“CBM”) across South Sumatra, Indonesia. NuEnergy is focused on commercialising its Tanjung Enim Production Sharing Contract’s (“PSC”) approved plan of development (“POD”) and moving its remaining unconventional gas assets from exploration to the development stage. NuEnergy’s strategy is to integrate all its PSCs in South Sumatra as a CBM hub to supply sustainable clean energy to the local market and the country.
