We refer to the announcement dated 14 October 2025 in relation to the Proposed SCR. Unless otherwise defined, the definitions set out in the previous announcement in relation to the Proposed SCR apply herein.
On behalf of the Board of GIAB, TA Securities Holdings Berhad (“TA Securities”) wishes to announce the following:
(i) the Board of GIAB (save for the Interested Director) has appointed TA Securities as the Principal Adviser for the Proposed SCR; and
(ii) in accordance with paragraph 3.06 of the Rules on Take-overs, Mergers and Compulsory Acquisitions (“Rules”), the Board of GIAB (save for the Interested Director) has appointed Sierac Corporate Advisers Sdn Bhd to act as the Independent Adviser to provide comments, opinions, information and recommendation to the Board of GIAB (save for the Interested Director) and the Disinterested Shareholders of GIAB in respect of the Proposed SCR.
