The Board of Directors ("Board") of SCC wishes to announce that the Company had on 16 October 2025, received a notice in writing dated 13 October 2025 ("Notice") from UHY Malaysia PLT (LLP0041391-LCA) (AF 1411) ("UHY") on their resignation as auditors of the Company pursuant to Section 281(1) of the Companies Act 2016 ("the Act").

Pursuant to the Act, UHY's term of office as auditors of the Company shall end 21 days from the date of the Notice. The Board wishes to inform that the resignation of UHY was due to the Company and UHY not being able to reach a consensus on the proposed audit fees for the financial year ending 31 December 2025. 

Save for the above, the Board is not aware of any other matters that need to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the Company. 

The Company is in the midst of identifying new Auditors and further announcement on the engagement of new Auditors will be made by the Company in due course once the appointment of the new Auditors is finalised.
