We refer to the article entitled "Vietnam cancels land lease for Malaysia-invested $3.2 bln thermal power project" published in The Investor (Vietnam) on 10 October 2025 (“Article”).

The Board of Directors of TVHB wishes to clarify that the Article appears to pertain to the Song Hau 2 Thermal Power Project in Vietnam undertaken by the Company's wholly-owned subsidiary, Toyo Ink Group Berhad, through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Song Hau 2 Power Company Limited.

The Company had on 4 July 2024, announced that the Build-Operate-Transfer ("BOT") Contract for the Song Hau 2 Thermal Power Project was terminated by the Ministry of Industry and Trade ("MOIT") of Vietnam. In accordance with the terms of the BOT Contract, the Land Lease Agreement ("LLA") for the project would automatically cease upon termination of the BOT Contract.

The Company has not received any new notification, correspondence or communication from the Vietnamese authorities in relation to the LLA as of 10 October 2025.

The Company will continue to make the necessary announcements should there be any material developments in relation to this matter.
