The Board of Directors of Lien Hoe Corporation Berhad (“the Company”) wishes to announce that the Company was served on 13 October 2025 with a Writ of Summons dated 11 September 2025 from Mr. Chan Wah Long, a former advisor of the Company, claiming payment of ex-gratia in the sum of RM1,400,000 together with related costs.

The Board, having reviewed the matter, is of the opinion that the claim is baseless and without merit. Accordingly, the Company will be appointing a legal firm to vigorously defend against the claim.

The Company will make further announcements to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad as and when there are any material developments in relation to this matter.
