The Board of Directors of Scientex Packaging (Ayer Keroh) Berhad ("the Company") wishes to announce that the Company intends to seek its shareholders' approval at the forthcoming 52nd Annual General Meeting in respect of the following proposals:

1. Proposed renewal of share buy-back authority; and

2. Proposed renewal of shareholders' mandate for recurrent related party transactions

(collectively referred to as the Proposals).

The Statement/Circular to shareholders containing the details of the above Proposals will be issued to the shareholders of the Company in due course.
