| Working experience and occupation | Cik Zalina Binti Jaflus ("Cik Zalina") has extensive experience in the field of risk management, business continuity, and crisis management across various industries.
She served for nine years as the Head of Risk Management Division at Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad ("MAHB"), where she was responsible for key areas including Enterprise Risk Management ("ERM"), Business Continuity Management ("BCM"), and Insurance and Claims Management. During her tenure, she successfully established and implemented the ERM and BCM framework across all international airports and major domestic airports operated by MAHB.
Among her notable achievements, Cik Zalina spearheaded the conduct of BCM tabletop and simulation exercises involving aerodrome partners - one of the first initiatives of its kind undertaken by an airport operator. She also led a full-scale Business Continuity simulation exercise with AirAsia and other external agencies and internal Airport Readiness team in preparation for the opening of KLIA2, which contributed significantly to the seamless commencement of the airport's operations. In addition, she collaborated with various government agencies to strengthen the Airport Emergency Response Plan.
Beyond her role at MAHB, Cik Zalina has successfully implemented comprehensive BCM programs, including tabletop exercises, for a wide range of organisations such as Perusahaan Otomobil Kedua Sdn Bhd, Ingress Technologies Sdn Bhd, TNB Prai, Malakoff Corporation Berhad, Velesto Energy Berhad, Construction Industry Development Board Malaysia, and Hektar Asset Management Sdn Bhd.
She has also contributed to the enhancement of ERM programs for Tenaga Nasional Berhad, Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation, and CIDB, as well as the improvement of Crisis Management Frameworks and Emergency Response Plans for all assets of PLUS Malaysia Berhad, which included the development and execution of tabletop and simulation exercises. |
