The Company had via the Notice of the 29th Annual General Meeting (“AGM”) dated 29 July 2025 announced to Bursa Securities that Crowe Malaysia PLT has given notice in writing to the Directors of their intention to retire as Auditors of the Company at the forthcoming 29th AGM. Their retirement shall take effect upon the conclusion of the 29th AGM.

The Company had on 29 August 2025 received a notice of nomination from a shareholder of the Company, Dato' Liu Han Ming, to nominate BDO PLT, as the Auditors of the Company for the financial year ending 31 March 2026 in place of Crowe Malaysia PLT and to hold office until the conclusion of the next annual general meeting of the Company at a remuneration to be determined by the Directors of the Company.

The proposed change of Auditors is subject to and conditional upon approval being obtained from the shareholders of HMCB at an Extraordinary General Meeting (“EGM”) to be convened.

A Circular to Shareholders in relation to the proposed change of Auditors will be sent to shareholders of the Company in due course.
