Reference is made to the announcement dated 21 May 2021, 19 November 2021, 17 February 2022, 11 January 2023, 10 April 2023, 25 October 2023, 24 January 2024, 29 April 2024, 5 July 2024 and 25 July 2024, 26 July 2024, 4 September 2024 and 20 September 2024 in relation to the scheme of arrangement proceedings filed by both AMRB and Alam Maritim (M) Sdn Bhd (“AMSB”).
The Board of Directors of AMRB wish to announce that on 3 September 2025, all necessary conditions in relation to the Proposed Debt Restructuring (as defined under the Explanatory Statement dated 5 July 2024) have been satisfied. As such, the Scheme of Arrangement has become effective on 3 September 2025 accordingly.
