SUNWAY-PA - Notice of Book Closure

Preferential dividend of 5.25% per annum [based on the issue price of RM1.00 per irredeemable convertible preference shares ("ICPS")] for the period from 1 January 2025 up to and including 30 June 2025, in respect of the financial year ending 31 December 2025

Kindly be advised of the following :

1) The above Company's securities will be traded and quoted "Ex - Dividend” as from: 12 Sep 2025
2) The last date of lodgment : 17 Sep 2025
3) Date Payable : 10 Oct 2025

Remarks :

Pursuant to Clause 8A(2) of Sunway Berhad's ("Sunway") Constitution, preferential dividend shall not be payable to the ICPS holders if Sunway has not declared such dividend and will also not be payable upon the mandatory conversion of the ICPS to ordinary shares of Sunway ("Sunway Shares"). Accordingly, the ICPS holders shall waive all undeclared preferential dividends. Each ICPS will cease to receive preferential dividends from and including the date the ICPS is converted into new Sunway Shares save for preferential dividends declared and unpaid up to the date of mandatory conversion of the ICPS into Sunway Shares.

We also wish to advise that all outstanding ICPS will be automatically and mandatorily converted into new ordinary shares of Sunway on the maturity date i.e. 2 December 2025.
