Reference is made to the Company’s announcement dated 2 July 2025 on the resignation of En. Syahrunizam Samsudin, the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer (“MD/CEO”) of the Company. 

The Board of Directors of UEM Edgenta wishes to announce that the Board has established Edgenta Management Committee (“EMCO”), to ensure business continuity and effective decision-making, which shall be effective from 1 September 2025 until the appointment and onboarding of the new MD/CEO. 

The composition of EMCO shall comprise the following personnel which shall collectively manage the Company’s operations and governance during the interim period in the absence of the MD/CEO:- 

1. Head of Healthcare Solutions (Chairperson and Officer-in-Charge) 
2. Chief People Officer (Deputy Chairperson) 
3. Chief Financial Officer 
4. Chief Digital Officer 
5. General Counsel (Secretary)
