We refer to the announcement dated 5 August 2025 in relation to the resignation of external auditors.

The Board of Directors of South Malaysia Industries Berhad wishes to announce that Messrs PKF PLT  ("PKF") (LLP0030836-LCA)(AF0911) , having given their consent to act as auditors of the Company for the financial year ending 30 September 2025 pursuant to Section 271(2)(b) of the Companies Act, 2016, is hereby appointed as external auditors of the Company on 15 August 2025. PKF shall hold office until the conclusion of the next Annual General Meeting of the Company.
