Reference is made to the announcement dated 28 April 2026 ("Earlier Announcement") in relation to the Originating Summons (Ex Parte) filed by Omesti Holdings Berhad (the "Applicant") which was served on the Company on 27 April 2026.

The Board of Directors of Ho Hup (the "Respondent") wishes to announce that the solicitors for the Company had attended the case management today and the Court has fixed 15 May 2026 as the next case management for parties to provide an update on the status of the case, pending the Applicant's reply to the questions raised by the Registrar.

The Company further wishes to clarify that Restraining Order as stated in the Earlier Announcement has yet to be granted by the Court and that the Originating Summons (Ex Parte) filed by the Applicant dated 23 April 2026 is an application made by the Applicant as a member of the Company for a Restraining Order pursuant to Sections 368 and other relevant provisions of the Companies Act 2016 ("RO Application").

Pursuant to Section 368 of the Companies Act 2016, upon the filing of the RO Application and until the application is decided by the Court or until the lapse of two (2) months from the date of filing of the RO Application, whichever is earlier, all actions or proceedings and/or further actions or proceedings against the Respondent and/or its assets including but not limited to the winding up of the Company, appointment of receiver or receiver and manager over any undertaking or property of the Company, any proceedings that may be commenced or continued against the Company, any execution, distress or other legal process against any property of the Company and any steps may be taken to enforce any security over any property of the Company shall be restrained and/or stayed.

The Company will make further announcement as and when there are material developments on the above matter.
